On October 4, Cumulus Media’s WDVD-FM (Detroit) held its second annual Radiothon for Detroit Dog Rescue (DDR), Detroit’s only no-kill dog foster and adoption shelter.  A total of $61,668 was raised.

The Blaine Fowler Morning Show, along with the entire 96.3 WDVD air staff, were broadcasting live from the Orchard Mall.  Money raised was to help the DDR complete their all-new, state-of-the-art rescue and recovery shelter.

“Detroit Dog Rescue was overjoyed to work with WDVD again this year for our second annual Radiothon,” said DDR Executive Director Kristina Rinaldi.  “The WDVD team has supported our mission for over five years through adoption events and various programs, so to partner together to build a facility that will serve thousands of dogs and Detroit’s residents is truly special.”
