WCRZ Raises $101k for Whaley Children’s Center

Townsquare Media’s WCRZ-FM (Flint) raised over $100,000 for the Whaley Children’s Center with Roof Sit 2021. Morning show personalities Clay Church and Lisa Marie, along with Mindy Williams, President and CEO of Whaley Children’s Center, were living on the roof of the Grand Blanc McDonald’s for three days (7/14-16) to raise funds for the Children’s Center.

Whaley Children’s Center provides shelter, hope and healing to nearly 90 children each year who are survivors of severe abuse and neglect. Every donation continues to provide a safe and happy childhood for the children of Whaley.

In a Facebook statement, the station said, “We’re still so humbled by the amazing community support for Roof Sit 2021 to benefit Whaley Children’s Center. We were able to raise over $101,000 thanks to you!  Again, thank you so very much to loving the kids of Whaley.”
