Lulu Harwell Dies at 99

The Detroit News has reported that ‘Miss Lulu,’ widow of Tigers’ broadcaster Ernie Harwell, has died at age 99.   Lulu Harwell passed away March 1 at a retirement living community in Novi.   It was reported that she had been in failing health for the past six months.
