DHS to Compile Database of Journalists

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) wants to track journalists, bloggers and other “media influencers” through a database. FCC Opens Settlement Window for Mutually Exclusive Applicants in Second Translator Window for AMs Seeking FM Translators

CMU’s WCMZ-TV Flint to Sign-Off April 23

WCMU Public Media has announced that WCMZ-TV (Flint) will sign off permanently on April 23, 2018 at 11:59 p.m.  WCMZ was sold in the FCC Spectrum Auction in early 2017. FEMA Releases 2017 IPAWS/EAS National Test Report

FEMA has released the results of the September 27, 2017 National EAS Test.  The agency reports that overall results were similar to 2016 with improvements in most areas.
