Brandie began her career at Meridian Township in 2007 as a Reporting Intern for HOMTV, Meridian Township’s award-winning Government Access Channel. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Specializations in Public Relations and Dance from Michigan State University in 2009. While studying at MSU, Brandie worked her way up from Rookie Intern, through the ranks to Paid Intern and after graduation she was hired as Meridian Township’s Communications Specialist/TV Production Manager. Through public relations, marketing and social media management, Brandie contributed to the creation of the Township’s Communications Department. In October 2012, Brandie was promoted to HOMTV Internship Coordinator, overseeing the HOMTV Internship Program with approximately 30 interns per semester. In 2017, Brandie became HOMTV’s Executive Producer, overseeing programming and station operations. After a reorganization of the Meridian Township Communications Department, in 2020, Brandie was promoted to the role of Communications Manager. She is now responsible for overseeing communications, marketing, public relations, branding, website management and content production for Meridian Township. Brandie also continues her role managing programming and station operations for HOMTV.
