If you’re a high school or college student interested in pursuing broadcasting, film, or media as a career, we want to hear from you! Committee members meet to discuss MAB Foundation programs and share thoughts on how we can better serve the needs of media students in Michigan.

Applications must be received by Wednesday, November 25, 2020.

  • Abigail Fulcher

    Central Michigan University

    Abigail Fulcher

    Abigail Fulcher is a freshman at Central Michigan University. She is a Broadcast Cinematic Arts major and have an interest videography, and graphic design. For my career I am aiming to become a news director or a film director.

  • Rachel Fulton

    Avondale High School

    Rachel Fulton

    Rachel Fulton is a junior in high school. Her favorite thing to do after school is going to the radio room to work on liners, DJ picks, or anything else needed at the moment. Outside of radio life she is a part of the varsity swim team, French club, and the green team, which focuses on Earth friendly living. She also has taken an interest in choir which she has been a part of since 7th. Outside of school, she works at Claire’s located at the Great Lakes Crossing mall in Auburn Hills.

    Lacie D. Hudson

    Lacie D. Hudson is a Junior at Michigan State University studying Journalism with a concentration in Broadcast. She is originally from Detroit, Michigan, but grew up in Los Angeles, California. In LA she hosted and produced a teen news show for a doll company, which is what introduced her to Broadcast Journalism. She enjoys writing, taking photos, volunteering with organizations such as Forgotten Harvest and spending time with her loved ones. She is an interning reporter in television and radio and strives to relay authentic information that her audience can trust. Her main goal is to be transparent and reliable in her communication with society through reporting and anchoring. During the school year she serves as a News Stringer for 1320 WILS-AM Radio and this summer she worked as an Assignment Desk Intern at Detroit’s WDIV Local 4 station. She is extremely grateful to be a part of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Student Advisory Committee and looks forward to making a difference within the organization.

    Kaleigh McKee

    Kaleigh McKee is a rising junior at Hope College majoring in Business and Communications. Outside of academic she enjoys playing intramural sports, spending time outdoors hiking and coordinating our newly established Broadcasting club. She currently works as the Sales and Marketing Intern for Peachwave and also is a Marketing Intern at WAR International. She is super passionate about videography and hopes to work full-time in the field of marketing one day. Her dream is to start her own advertising firm that works with nonprofits and political action groups to advocate for issues she is passionate about.

    Leonard Poole

    Leonard Poole is currently a Junior attending Adrian College. Raised in Norton Shores, Michigan Leonard is currently studying Communications Arts in hopes to become a news reporter. Leonard’s expected graduation date is 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree.

    Western Michigan University

    Bryce Robinson

    Bryce Robinson is a junior at Western Michigan University studying film, video and media studies with a minor in history. He also sings tenor in WMU’s vocal ensemble. He hopes to one day be involved in the control room or as a personality in sports or entertainment broadcasting.

    Cameon Wade

    Cameon Wade is 17 years old and the oldest of six siblings. She has been involved with film for the past five years and can never seem to get enough of it. She will be attending Adrian College in the fall and will study video and film.
