Linda Lee (Young) of WYCD-FM (Detroit) and nationally recognized radio personality, will receive the first MAB Legacy Award, posthumously, at the Advocacy Conference and Annual Meeting, August 22, during the Chairman’s Banquet at Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville.
Lee, who passed away March 31, 2017 will be honored among others for her outstanding career and her commitment to her craft, her audience and the many charities she supported.
Lee’s husband of 17 years (Jeff Young) says “Linda loved to talk, and she was good at it! She would be so honored to know that she was receiving the MAB Legacy Award.”
“Linda has the biggest heart in radio and is one of the most positive people I’ve ever met,” said Tim Roberts, longtime friend and CBS’ VP of country music programming.
