Former Michigan Air Personality Denis Prior Dies

Ramp247.com reports that Michigan veteran air talent and comedy writer Denis Prior passed away early this week.  In Michigan, Prior worked on-air at WLHT-FM (Grand Rapids), MacDonald-Garber Broadcasting (Cadillac) and WGVU-AM/WGVS-AM (Grand Rapids).  Prior to Michigan, his resume included stops at KMXV-FM (Kansas City), KSRZ-FM (Omaha) and WSM-FM (Nashville).

Prior had a lengthy run as a writer for Late Show With David Letterman. He also was a contributor to Jay Leno’s late night show.  More recently Prior had been doing freelance voiceover work and living in Grand Rapids.

Prior is survived by his daughter, Kady, who posted her own heartfelt tribute to her Dad on Facebook.
