Former WDMK-FM (Detroit) and WJLB-FM (Detroit) morning co-host Coco is joining Adell Broadcasting’s WFDF-AM (Detroit) for a new 7-9 a.m. morning drive program beginning September 9.  Coco did mornings with John Mason at WDMK from 2014 to 2018.  Before that she was with WJLB-FM for 17 years.

CEO Kevin Adell said, “Coco speaks to the community.“ Coco added, “I’m happy to be joining the 910AM Superstation family.”

The station also announced that Detroit News columnist Bankole Thompson is returning next month for a midday show, airing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting September 9.

“I’m happy to be back at 910AM Superstation and I’m looking forward to making Detroit’s recovery and poverty the front and center of our conversation,” said Thompson in a news release issued Wednesday (8/28).
