Bob Allison’s ‘Ask Your Neighbor’ Ends its 58-Year Run

Following the passing of host Bob Allison on March 25, it was announced May 22 that the “Ask Your Neighbor” radio program will come to an end on May 29.
The announcement was made by the program’s sales manager, Al O’Neal.  O’Neal, saying “all good things must come to an end,” cited a decline in revenue as well as the COVID-19 challenges as reasons for the decision to end the program.

In 2018, Bob Allison was inducted into the Michigan Broadcasting Hall of Fame at ceremonies on the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.
