The MAB is seeking an experienced Communications Manager/ Fundraiser/ Event Coordinator needed, with proven track record to plan events, handle scholarships, award programs and raise funds for the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Foundation. 

Fundraising includes:  direct request fundraising, endowments, major giving development and grant writing. Public speaking, poise and professional appearance a must. Strong relationship building with a sales and or marketing background important. We need someone who can grow with us and has a passion for their work. Strong Communications skills, writing, editing,. research, digital and social media expertise important moderate graphic design a plus.

Requirements:  Excellent sales, marketing and communications skills, strong writing, public speaking and editing. Must work independently and be digitally oriented. Mastery of all common office computer applications required, including Word, Acrobat, Excel, Constant Contact and familiarity with database CRM programs.

Degree in communications or journalism with 3-5 years of success.
