You have five minutes to ask the most important question of your career...now GO! Taken from the idea of "speed dating", this unique session will allow emerging professionals the opportunity to meet with a variety of Michigan broadcast managers in a one-on-one "sit down" for five minutes then move to the next mentor on the line. Pre-registration for this session is required. Attendees are expected to be prepared with questions for the mentors and be ready for a fast-paced, information-packed networking session. Don't miss this important event! Participating mentors will be added to this site as they are confirmed. This session will be repeated, however, you may only sign up for one of the two sessions.

1:15pm - 2:15pm The WRITE Path to Success in a Multi-Media World

The key to success in our multi-media world is to be able to write something that sells; something that makes the reader, viewer or listener want more. Content, and how content is written, can make the difference and can either make you, or break you. This workshop will discuss creative writing AND news writing as it pertains to multi-media content and will include hands-on group exercises to make you a more effective, successful writer.
