Campaign: Michigan Occupational Safety & Health Administration
Attn: Public Service Director
The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) strives to work collaboratively with employers and employees to better prevent workplace injuries, illnesses and fatalities, and to protect earned wages and fringe benefits of Michigan workers.
MIOSHA health and safety activities include: setting and enforcing occupational safety and health standards; providing extensive safety and health training and education; and working with partners to develop innovative programs to prevent workplace hazards. MIOSHA Wage and Hour activities focus on administration of three laws which protect the wages and fringe benefits of Michigan workers.
Beginning May 1, 2014, MIOSHA is launching a series of public service announcements (PSAs)
targeting residential falls, heat safety, air quality safety, and promoting overall worker safety.
This series is for the spring and summer seasons.
As the Director of MIOSHA, I ask that you add the enclosed PSAs regarding worker safety to
your rotation. Please play these as often as you can.
If you have any special needs regarding the PSAs, or would like them in a different format,
please contact Andrea Miller, MIOSHA Public Information Officer, at 517-373-6963 or
Thank you for your time.
Martha Yoder, Director
