Campaign: Worker's Comp
Attn: Public Service Director
The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) strives to work collaboratively with employers and employees to better prevent workplace injuries, illnesses and fatalities, and to protect earned wages and fringe benefits of Michigan workers.
The Michigan Workers’ Compensation Agency (WCA) efficiently administers the Workers’ Disability Compensation Act and provides prompt, courteous and impartial service to all customers.
Beginning December 15, 2014, the MIOSHA and WCA are jointly launching two public
service announcements (PSAs), targeting employers and their employees to encourage
worker safety to reduce injury and illness, and reduce workers’ compensation costs
during the winter season.
As the directors of the MIOSHA and WCA, we ask that you please add the enclosed
PSAs regarding worker safety and workers’ compensation to your rotation and play
them as frequently as possible through March 2015.
If you have any special needs regarding the PSAs, or would like them in a different
format, please contact Tanya Baker, MIOSHA Public Information Officer at 517-241-
2381 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for your time.
