NAB Webcast: Defining Broadcasters in the 113th Congress

Join NAB Joint Board Chair Paul Karpowicz, President and CEO Gordon H. Smith, Executive Vice President of Radio John David and Executive Vice President of Television Marcellus Alexander for a webcast on Thursday, February 7 at 2 p.m. EDT to hear about NAB’s new on-air campaign to help define broadcasters in the 113th Congress and learn how you can engage in this important effort. During the webcast you will get a preview of TV and radio spots that will help educate policymakers on broadcasters’ integral role in every local community.

The TV and radio spots produced for this campaign will be made available to stations after the webcast. We ask that stations air the spots as often as possible throughout the year using available inventory.

From spectrum management and retransmission consent to radio royalties, policymakers could make decisions that forever change the face of broadcasting. We must work together to ensure those shaping our future fully understand broadcasters’ worth and the power of our unified voice.

To join the webcast, please visit and RSVP by tomorrow, February 6.

Please join us to learn how this campaign will educate and remind legislators and regulators of the many ways TV and radio stations reach more people and touch more lives than all other mediums combined.
