Attention NAB TV Members: NAB to Host Spectrum Meeting
The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) is a meeting in Detroit regarding the FCC’s upcoming Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) involving spectrum auction and repacking.
 
NOTE: The meeting is only open to NAB members.
 
“What TV Stations Need to Know About the Spectrum Auction Process”

What: In the coming months, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is expected to release one or more notices seeking comment on rules for conducting the spectrum incentive auctions and the subsequent repacking of TV stations. You are invited to attend a members-only education forum presented by the National Association of Broadcasters to hear an update on the current legislative and regulatory landscape and learn what stations need to know before the FCC’s proposed rulemaking. This forum is geared toward station managers and their chief engineers.

Who: NAB’s technical, regulatory and legislative experts will be on hand to provide information to TV station representatives and answer any questions you may have.

When: Thursday, August 16, 12 -2 p.m . ET (Boxed lunches will be served.)

Where:  WDIV-TV, 550 W Lafayette Blvd, Detroit, MI 48226-3123 – Studio B
