MAB celebrates Lifetime Achievement Award, 2017 Michigan Broadcasting Hall of Fame Inductees


The Michigan Association of Broadcasters (MAB) presented its 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award and welcomed welcome four other outstanding individuals into the Michigan Broadcasting Hall of Fame on Tuesday, August 22 at Crystal Mountain Resort.

Pictured above (from left  to right) is the Michigan Broadcasting Hall of Fame Class of 2017: Retired WXYZ-TV news anchor Erik Smith; MAB Lifetime Achievement Award recipient Marla Drutz, Vice President and General Manager for WDIV-TV in Detroit; Rob David, President and General Manger of Handyman Productions; Sheryll Estell, who accepted on behalf of her late husband and WKAR "Radio Reader," Dick Estell, who passed away in 2016; and Gina Mills, who accepted the MAB 2017 Legacy Award on behalf of her late mother, WYCD-FM host Linda Lee, who passed away on March 31.
