Casey Kasem: 1932-2014
It is with teary eyes that we share news of the passing of the legendary Casey Kasem.  Born in Detroit in 1932, Casey started his radio career in Flint and was a graduate of Northwestern High School in Detroit and Wayne State University.

Kasem was the long-time host of the syndicated "American Top 40" radio show, which debuted on July 4, 1970.  Aside from his radio work, Kasem was an accomplished voice-over artist, well known as the voice of Shaggy on the Scooby-Doo cartoon series.  

He was inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 1985.
