John D. Dingell (D-12) - Longest Serving U.S. Congressman


Congressman John D. Dingell (D-12), longtime supporter of free over-the-air broadcasting, will set a record as the longest serving member of the U.S. Congress on Friday June 7, 2013.  The date marks 58 years serving in the U.S. House of Representatives.

It is with a great respect and admiration for his accomplishments that Michigan Association of Broadcasters (MAB) extends their appreciation and thanks to Congressman John D. Dingell for his significant contributions to the great State of Michigan, the United States and the broadcasting industry. We congratulate the Congressman as the longest serving member of the U.S. Congress. We honor and appreciate the contributions he has made to Michigan and the entire United States of America.
