MAB Lifetime Achievement Award Qualifications: Nominees must be a Michigan broadcast pioneer, living or deceased, who has dedicated the majority of his or her professional career to broadcasting in the state of Michigan and has distinguished himself or herself through a lifetime of service as a top manager or owner through excellence in broadcasting in the following: state, national or international industry leadership; service on the MAB, NAB or other industry organizational boards; community involvement; and industry innovation. The recipient is chosen by the MAB Board of Directors from any of the following: the nominees received, the list of nominees received from previous years, and the inductees in the Broadcasting Hall of Fame. The award is given as recipients are identified (which is not necessarily each year). This is the highest honor given by the MAB to one of its members.

Michigan Broadcasting Hall of Fame Qualifications: Nominees must have a distinguished professional career in Michigan broadcasting. The nominee must exemplify integrity, innovation, achievement, leadership, contributions to the industry as a whole, demonstrated service to their community above and beyond that which may be expected to meet the guidelines of the FCC and must have a positive influence on individuals in the profession. The nominee may hold or have held positions within the Michigan broadcasting industry, including the Michigan Association of Broadcasters, the National Association of Broadcasters or any other industry-related trade organization. Nomination(s) will be presented to the MAB awards committee and the MAB Board of Directors, who will determine the inductees. The committee decides the number of individuals inducted into the Hall of Fame in each year. A MAB Lifetime Achievement Award winner may be chosen from the inductees of the Michigan Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

Additional Information: All nominations must include a resume and/or bio for the nominee, a digital photo and summary statement of why you are nominating the person. Complete the nomination form and be as descriptive as possible. Please understand that there are many worthy broadcasters nominated and although your nominee may not be selected this particular year, the nomination stands for five years.
