The FCC is moving ahead quickly with its plans to hold the TV incentive auction early in 2016 – with many filing requirements and other changes coming up in the next few months. Whether a station is considering offering its spectrum in the auction or not, every TV broadcasters needs to be ready for the disruptions that the auction may bring.

Please join the Michigan Association of Broadcasters Political Action Committee (MABPAC) for a wine tasting fundraiser
event prior to the 2015 MAB Summer Advocacy Conference.
The fundraiser will include a trip to Chateau Chantal and Bonobo wineries on the beautiful Old Mission Peninsula and will take place on Monday, August 17 ~ 1 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Guests will be picked up and dropped off at the Shanty Creek Resorts by the Trolley Company of Traverse City, generously provided by Chris Warren of Midwestern Broadcasting Company.
Cost: $135 / person

Join the MAB Foundation for this year's Golf Scramble Fundraiser!
This year's event will be held at Shanty Creek Resorts, on their fabulous Schuss Mountain golf course. Annually named one of the top public golf courses in Michigan, Schuss Mountain is a challenging course carved into Pure Michigan. Schuss Mountain delivers the challenge golfers seek throughout 6,922 yards of abundant wetlands, rolling hills, and wildlife.
Cost is $150/golfer and includes 18-holes of golf, cart, box lunch, refreshments,
awards presentation and green fees.
This fundraiser will take place the day after the MAB's Advocacy Conference and Annual Meeting with proceeds going directly into broadcast scholarships, internships and education for the future of our industry. The more resources we have, the better we can work to secure a more educated and promising broadcast workforce. Make plans to make a difference today!
