Thanks to WCMU-TV and WKAR-TV we are pleased to once again make a pool feed and uplink of the SOS available to our TV and Radio members Tuesday January 19 (7-8) PM.
The State of the State will be carried live in every market, live on the web, broadcast delayed and on the websites of many of our members.
Michigan Public Broadcasters will carry the State of the State Hosted by political commentator and host of Off the Record, Tim Skubick. If you have not notified us of your intent to carry SOS in some fashion please do so ASAP. It is our chance to continue to show the impact of our industry to policy makers.

The security at the Capitol will be very tight. Even media must register for credentials IN ADVANCE contact Bob Dobski with the house GOP Communications Office at 517/373-7935 or email email@example.com. Deadline for credentials is 5pm, January 13.

The FCC is working on AM Revitalization, and the first deadline is January 29. To help our members with details and questions, we've set up a Webex meeting with both legal and technical speakers on the topic. This is a two-part Webex meeting:
Part 1: Thursday, January 21 at 2pm eastern.
This call will feature David O'Connor with Wilkinson Barker Knauer LLP, and consulting engineer Jeremy Ruck. We will cover both legal and technical questions.
Part 2: Friday, February 19 at 2pm eastern.
This call will feature Jeremy Ruck and will cover additional technical questions you may have after the January 29 deadline.
